Inspiration
Flamingo was born from the joy of sharing travel moments with friends and family.
We envisioned a platform where you could revisit your own memories through spatial photos and videos and tell your stories to others, no matter the distance.
The app should inspire you to visit new places and fuel your wanderlust.
What it does ?
Flamingo offers you a playful and interactive way to tell your friends about your adventures.
It is about viewing photos, sharing passion and remembering your greatest moments.
The app enables you to explore your travel history on an interactive 3D globe, decorated with models of popular buildings and landmarks.
Where was Flamingo born ?
Flamingo was created during the XR Creator Con Hackathon 2024, by the Color Rage team.
In fact, the XRCC (sponsored by Meta, Cupra, MBB, Puma, Shapes XR and Zalando) is a challenge based in Berlin, for XR Creators to practice their mixed reality development skills using Presence Platform, and innovate on new categories of Meta Quest applications.
In this hackathon, people will leverage Presence Platform capabilities to build creative prototypes of innovative content.
With the Mixed Reality features on Meta Quest 3, they are new categories of applications emerge driven by developer innovation.
